My Top Ten Apps in 2012

Hello! Today will be the last day I will be blogging in 2012, so I Made this post a little bit more special for you guys as a treat. Today I will be showing my top ten apps I downloaded in 2012. Now, this doesn't mean they were all launched in 2012. They are just the apps I am still using since I downloaded it, until the end of this year, and probably I will still be using it for a long time. Just sit back, relax, and read on.

By the way, the apps are not arrange in any kind of order.

First is Cut the Buttons. This app may not be free, but it is truly an app you will never get tired of. It is actually kind off similar to the app called Fruit Ninja, but better in so many ways. Second is Action Movie FX. This app is free and is super cool. You have got to try it. It is a must. It places cool effects on your videos from Call of Duty. You can click the link below to check its iTunes. For more information about this, you can check out my blog post about this here.

Third is SoundHound. SoundHound has got to be one of the most useful apps I have in my iPod Touch. It can detect tunes and lyrics of songs, so for example, you heard this awesome song at the mall, and you just remember the tune, you can hum it. SoundHound can find the song for you. Best part? Forth is Graffiti Me! This is a super cool app. A must to try. It places your pictures to a wall, and it looks like your picture was painted as graffiti on a wall. It says on its description on iTunes that its free offer will end on December 21, but I guess they forgot to change the cost back to $1.99 because I saw it was still free. Hurry! They might remember. Fifth is Magisto - Magical Video Editor. This app is another must have. It edits your video to look like it was professionally edited with just one click of your command. You can add our own song to the video or you can choose from the given choices. The app is also available on PlayStore. Check the app's iTunes and Playstore by clicking the link below. Sixth is ActionShot. This app is so cool! It allows you to take multiple shots of an object, prefferably a person, in action and turn it into a sequence shot. Isn't that awesome? Check it out! Guess what? It is free. For more information, check this blog post by me---> Blog Post

Seventh is iVideo Downloader Lite. This app is cool, not because it is entertaining, but it is cool for what it does. It can download videos, and if you like, you can convert them to MP3. There is a catch though. You can't save the videos and MP3 literally on your phone, but you can store them in the app, so you can just check them out any time. Eight is Hair Color Booth Free. This app is one of the most entertaining apps I have in my iPod Touch. It allows you to color your hair, obviously in pictures only, but it is still pretty cool. Go check its iTunes out. You can also check out my post about it here.

Ninth is Heart Booth - FREE. This app allows you to take multiple shots of yourself trying to fit your arms unto its template of a heart. After doing those, you will find yourself looking at a heart made of your arms. Check it out! It is pretty cool. You can check my post about it here.

Last but not the least, the tenth app is PopBooth. You can take four shots of yourself doing anything you want and combine it to make a collage. Check it out. The filters are really cute.

So that is my last post for this year. Wait! There's more. Since this is a special post, instead of ten, I will add one more to make it eleven apps. Let's just call it a Holiday Bonus.

The last and the weirdest, the funniest, the most useless, and the one I have been saving for is Geek Booth Free. Be a geek for a day with this app. You can turn yourself to look like a geek and trick your friends saying this is how you looked like without the surgery and such. After editing the photo, you can choose to share the picture or take a screenshot of the result.

Graffiti Me!™

Hello! Today is the second day after Christmas, and tomorrow is my sister's birthday. Since I am not sure if I will have time tomorrow to blog because we might go somewhere special tomorrow, I am going to blog today.

Today I have another app for you. This app is fun, creative, and entertaining, and do you know what else is cool about it? The app is free. Yes, you can download this app even if you are broke at the moment, and the only things you have are the clothes at your back, internet connection, and your iDevice because it is, in fact, free (Well, free at the moment at least), so without further ado, let's get started.

The app is called Graffiti Me!. It was created by the same makers of Hair Color Booth Free, which I have another blog post about that you can read here. Graffiti Me! is made by Bluebear Technologies Ltd. Somehow I just find their apps awesome.

Graffiti Me allows you to make a graffiti art of yourself or any other photo that you may want to use. The app is just simply that, but it is very cool once you have tried it. When I first tried it, it was my dad's birthday. Boy, was I bored, but it was good my dad had WiFi with him, so I was a able to find this app. Then I started edited some pictures. Here are two of the first pictures that I edited:

They aren't so bad, right? Actually for me, both of them look great for starters like me, so I bet you can make better.

The app allows you to pick which you would want to use, either choosing a photo from your camera roll or taking a picture using your camera. Both works the same way.

The app has more wall designs than just the American flag and the yellow splash thing. Here are all of he flag designs:

So yeah, they have a set of walls you can choose from. You can also add words to the wall like this:

You can also draw on it with the virtual spray paints provided by the app. There are many colors to choose from, but I used yellow.

That is about all it can do. Then you can save it or share it to social networking sites. The file is a bit small though.

Doors&Rooms

Merry Christmas! It is the 25th of December. It is Christmas, and what better way to start your day than to blog, if you know what I mean, so today I have an app to blog for you. This app is made by gameday Inc.

This app may not be related to Christmas, but this app is still pretty cool for this cold season. It is called Doors&Rooms. The game is somewhat similar to the app called 100 Floors. By the way, if you'd like to check out my blog post about 100 Floors, you can check it out here, and if you'd like to download it, I have a link in that blog post.

The game is simple. You just have to keep looking for clues and try solving them, so that you can open the door. Just like in 100 Floors, you have to think hard, just to finish one level.

Chapter selection

There are many chapters to choose from in this app, namely Rusty Key, Secret Door, Silent Hospital, Claustrophobia, The Kingdom, and some other chapters still coming soon. In each chapter, you will find a set of levels to play. Each level has its own answers, so think hard. After finishing a set of levels, the app may ask you if you'd like to buy some more levels of the same chapter. You can turn the offer down if you don't want to buy.

The game is pretty cool if you ask me. I have finish the first chapter and I will finish the others too.

Action Movie FX

Merry Christmas! Well, Christmas eve, at least. Anyway, today, I got a cool app for you. This app is one you will never delete. I promise. The app is called Action Movie FX by Bad Robot Interactive.

Action Movie FX lets you create a scene wherein the boring road outside your house can be exploded with missiles, or that Ferrari car that is owned by your enemy across the street can be smashed by a huge rock,  with just a touch of your finger. Isn't that cool?

The app has eight effects you can choose from, namely Car Smash, Demolition Rock, Rough Terrain, Missile Attack, Hellstorm Missile, EMP, Dragonfire Drones, and Claw. Those are the effects available for the free version, but if you'd like to add more effects, you can buy them. I did not buy though because I like the free ones already, but I think the paid ones are cooler. Some effects are from Call of Duty: Black Ops.

I have downloaded tons of apps similar to this, you know effects and such, but nothing, by far, beats Action Movie FX. This app is the fastest one I have encountered, the only app I saw that has somewhat realistic effects, and the only app of its kind that is user-friendly. I love this app since I first saw my sister's friend using it, which was the first time I saw it.

I covered the camera with my hand because my room is ugly. LOL, but the app works.

Cut the Buttons

Hello! Today, I have another app for you. This app is just for those times when you just want to take your mind out of things for a while and just focus on your "me time". The app is called Cut the Buttons.

This app is fun and addicting, but I must warn you. This app can sometimes annoy you, but it is a lot of fun. The objective of this game is to cut the buttons off the cloths that are flying across the screen and catch them in a small basket that is movable by your fingers underneath. This game is kind off similar to the game of Fruit Ninja, which by the way you can download here for free on itunes, here (with payment) on itunes, here for free on Playstore, and here (with payment) on Playstore. Same with Fruit Ninja, after missing three flying cloths, no matter how many is in one, it is game over.

This app is fun. I only had it since yesterday, and I already love it. This app, though, is not free. I know it is sad, but trust me. The experience of the game is priceless. No price can ever beat it, plus it isn't that expensive at all. It costs only $0.99. Which really bugs me about the price though was it was free when I downloaded it, probably because it was free for a limited time only, but hey, what has happened has happened.

I recommend using an iPad to play the game because the screen is bigger which makes it easier to manipulate, but a small iPhone or iPod Touch will work as good.

SoundHound

"That annoying moment when you keep thinking of a song you heard from the radio and don't know the lyrics or the title. All you know is just the tune." Well, no need for that quote anymore because I have a solution for you.

The solution's name is SoundHound by SoundHound, Inc. It is an awesome app that is able to find those unknown songs from the radio that are stuck in your head. You can just simply hum the tune or sing some of the lyrics. Then SoundHound will do the rest. Yes, there are times the app will make mistakes, but almost all the time, and I mean almost all the time, the app shows the correct result, which is pretty useful for some people.

SoundHound also has a list of songs that they'd like to recommend. I like to be recommended because then I will know what to listen to, and what is trending.

It can also recognize your songs in your iDevice. Let's say you have a song, and you seriously want to know the lyrics of it. Just click on SoundHound. The app will show you the lyrics. Sometimes SoundHound doesn't have the lyrics to what you have, but most of the times, the app does.

The app also has a history file wherein all your searches and bookmarks are being stored.

And of course, what is an app that is for searching song if it doesn't have the search bar. You can search the song directly by listing the lyrics, the artist, or the title itself.

Then when you found your song, you can download the song from iTunes directly from your phone, or you can search the lyrics in Google using the app. All this can be done by SoundHound.

Best part? Listen Android users. There is SoundHound in Playstore.
